One of my engineering passions has been airsoft. Though it is rarely well recieved by parents and quakers alike, I love making things that I can use and test and show people who are truly enthusiastic. This is probably the longest running set of projects of GSF, beginning with the very early versions of pressure system in middle school.
This pressure system formed the basis of my inspiration to design airsoft eqipment. It was actually very practical when I fielded it. I went on to make more equipment for the pressure system, including the break action pressure cannon below, which was initally intended to fire potatoes repeatedly (and still does so very well).
The next summer, I was inspired to create an entire kit based around the concept of 3D printing innovative systems. This involved the creation of new weapons, as well as numerous peices of ergonomic hardware.
There is much more to this system currently in the design and testing phase, which will be added to this page soon.
